Created by Ono Yum, the founders of San Diego's Hawaiian Food Festival, "I Love Poke"
North County San Diego is the home base of Ono Yum. We have always wanted to do an island-style event in our own neck of the woods. With the new patio (now open) and freshly smoothed out parking lot, it is perfect timing for Priority Public House (PPH) to host this backyard style event!
The event concept is simple. We want to bring the community together to celebrate our "locals summer" with plate lunch- inspired food from the chefs of PPH and good live island music from Swells. Let's cruise together, bring the keiki (limited kids tickets) and let's "KEEP LEUCADIA SHAKA".

Poke from Hawaiian Fresh Seafood, Nino's Teri Chicken, Grilled Spam, Mac Salad, Green Salad, Rice, King's Hawaiian Roll, Haupia, Malasadas & Guava Cake from Ho'onani Cakes
(Vegetarian option: Teriyaki Portobello & Baby Bok Choy alongside the rest of the plate lunch items that you want /can eat.)

LOCALS "HOME CHEF" POKE CLASSIC (This poke is not for attendee consumption)
We searched all beaches of North County from Torrey Pines to the Oceanside Pier for da braddahs and sistahs known for making da best poke on da block (at home). Each of these competitors will be given 2lbs of fresh tuna from Hawaiian Fresh Seafood and a shopping spree at Lazy Acres Encinitas (for wet and dry ingredients) to make their poke and bring it to the party. Their dish will be presented by select judges (to be announced) and graded for "Best Overall". Winner gets their poke as a featured item on the PPH menu for the following month, a trophy santoku style knife from Leucadia Custom Knives and of course bragging rights!
